Founder and CEO, Consultant Nutritionists
Michelle Futrell is both a licensed and registered dietitian. She received her education at the City University of New York with a Master’s and a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Nutrition. For more than 40 years, Michelle has ardently advocated for nutrition and health related issues affecting the well-being of all Americans. Michelle is the founder and CEO of Consultant Nutritionists, LLC, whose mission is to reverse the proliferation of food related health disparities and champion healthy lifestyle choices. As the lead consultant for the Association for State Public Health Nutritionists’ Policy Committee, Michelle works closely with state public health nutritionists from all over the country to support equitable legislation, policies, systems, and quality of life outcomes. Michelle serves as a member of the Farmer Foodshare Board of Directors.
