Farmers

Our organization was founded to support local farmers and to serve as a catalyst to get fresh locally sourced produce to those facing challenges of food insecurity.

One of our cornerstone programs to support farmers is our wholesale market.  Our focus is to leverage our relationships with over 170 vendors to open new avenues of funding for our farmers.  We consolidate produce from over 50 small and mid-sized farms to sell at wholesale prices to schools, prisons, restaurants and other institutions.

You can help support farmers by participating in our Farmer Friday campaign which promotes buying local.  Our new Farmer Fund is another way to impact our farmers with mini grants.

Our goal is to help from “Seeding to Feeding”.

How To Become A Farmer Partner?

Our mission is to help support small and mid-sized farms as well as new farmers, BIPOC farmers and female farmers. We help you to reach new markets by consolidating wholesale produce to sell to over 100 vendors from schools to prisons and restaurants. Many organizations can not sell directly to vendors so we help to build these relationships to help your bottom line. Contact our Wholesale Market at market@farmerfoodshare.org to start the conversation about our opportunities.
